jeff glaser - anchorage, alaska

Jeff Glaser joined New Northwest Broadcasters Anchorage in August of 2007, bringing over 25 years of television experience to his new position. His extensive and varied experience in television, and the Alaska market in particular, will benefit NNB listeners and advertisers alike.

Jeff began his broadcasting career in Tacoma, Washington. In 1982, he moved to Anchorage and joined KTUU Channel 2 TV, working on the technical side of the industry as Director of Operations and Director of the nightly newscasts. In 1987 Jeff moved closer to home and accepted a position with KING TV in Seattle, gaining additional experience in studio and remote production, live programming, and on-air operations. Returning to Anchorage in 1990, Jeff entered into television advertising sales, working for both the CBS and NBC affiliates. He joined the FOX affiliate in 1997 as Sales Manager and in 1998 became the station’s General Manager.

Jeff is married and has two sons, who will be turning fourteen years old and eleven years old this summer. His favorite hobbies include spending time fishing with his boys and reading Arbitron ratings books, in that order.
