Paul Mitchell began his broadcasting career, in Astoria, over 30 years ago, working first in Television. His jobs ranged from News Videographer, Talent, Account Executive and eventually the Director of Sales for an Independent station in the High Desert of California.
He then moved to radio as the General Sales Manager for a Regent Broadcasting six station cluster and later as the General Manager for Clear Channel's properties in Victorville, California. During Paul's time with Clear Channel, the Market experienced tremendous growth moving from a non-rated market to number 134 in just 18 months.
In the summer of 2003, Paul and his staff were awarded proclamations from local, county and state officials for their coverage and assistance during the San Bernadino County fires. The largest fire in the history of California, it caused tens-of-thousands of people to flee their homes.
